Scarp Road Section 1

 Today we cycled from Jarrahdale to the Serpentine River.  It's a short ride but very steep. 

We rode on Scarp Road through a forest of eucalypt,  banksia and wattle. 

This is part of the Serpentine National Park. 

The elevation gain made it a challenging ride. 

It was a steep downhill to the river then a long slow climb back to the car. 

But riding a red dirt road through the forest makes it quite fun!
