MTB North Dandalup Dam

Today was a sunny winters day! So we made the most of it... loaded up the mountain bikes and headed for the hills!

We rode along Scarp Road to the North Dandalup dam. 

Through the forest filled with eucalypts, acacia and grass trees. 

Then across the dam wall. 

It was fabulous riding weather. 

We also rode down to the picnic area after crossing the dam wall.  

It was only 11km total but a strenuous 11km.

Lots of steep climbing.

It's the second time we've parked here:

The first time we rode a section of the Munda Biddi trail.  But we were eager to ride the dirt road to the dam as well,  so today it was great to tick that off our bucket list.
